Edwin (Ed) Reiter: Edwin (Ed) Reiter graduated cum laude from Tampa College in Clearwater, Florida, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer and Information Science. He is now retired after working 32 years in customer support and customer experience. When Ed retired he was the Vice President of Customer Experience for CAASPRE Consulting, a Tampa, Florida Software Development firm. Ed has been a living historian (Reenactor) for 34 year, and has been studying Civil War History since High School. He has extensively read the subject in the past 40 years. Ed was employed at Rock Island Arsenal in the 1980’s and developed an interest in the Rock Island Prison Barracks during that time. He has spent much time at the Rock Island Arsenal Museum, and Resource Center researching the 108th Infantry Regiment (USCT).
